I have every intention to continue the story. John's commented to me that he's always wanted to do more with Yin, so this gives one outlet for that to happen.
Who knows? If the story proves to be popular enough (with the Gneech), you might actually see Arden drop in again without my having to pay for it.

I'll agree with you that "Arden" may show up again in the SJ Universe un-announced, as it would give the Gneech another character to use from time to time. ;=3

I've just started to read the rest of the stories. So far, so good.

Oh ya! I asked John what kind of foods would Yin go for if she could eat anything. His response was:

Which of course set up the PERFECT way for Yin to beg for her memories.

Ya... Originally I was just going to have her look forward to Italian. (Italian being my favorite food.)
But then it occurred to me, she's NEVER even tasted anything other than bamboo until this story. So not having even tasted anything else, how would you choose what to eat?
Obviously, you'd go for what's most popular. Everyone raves about Italian. Chinese is even more popular than Italian, and there's a burger joint on almost every corner.
Made sense to me and sure made for a more entertaining ending to the story

I thought Yin's story has a great deal of promise in it, not to mention a whole lot of fun!
Keep writing, Hikaru, and please, don't hesitate to do the outrageous, the unexpected, and the downright silly. Sometimes there things are far more fun than normality could ever be.
