They said their good-bye's and left Heather to rest, last thing they did was check with the nurse about their father and found no change. Which was good, they didn't want to hear anything really out of the ordinary. Hector was quiet as they walked to the truck, however once inside he spoke.
"Well…."
"Well what?" Suzan said looking at Hector.
"Do you like her?"
Suzan nodded her head, "Yes Hector she's very nice, bit naïve in some respects but likable none the less. She a fine fur/taur and will do you good."
"It's true she is a bit raw, but so am I. Specially in the relationship part."
"Oh yeah…….ah have you told her that your not a virgin!" Hector looked at his sister with a strange look. "Well it's true, you've done it several times I know that."
"You didn't tell her!!!" He exclaimed!!!
"Woah slow down Hec…….I didn't tell her anything about your previous dates………but we did speak about sex!"
Hector looked at her, "On the first meeting….." He shook his head.
"Hector it's a good way for me to break the ice with someone and she had to know what she's getting into."
"On the first meeting?"
"Look Hector, I know you……more than you know yourself and I know you wouldn't hurt Heather for the world…..even if it meant you never had sex with her." She looked for his reaction, "But that's not good for a relationship, I know she'll want to be held and loved by you. The only way that's going to happen without someone getting hurt is to talk about it. The talk went well Hec….we had a laugh or two……not about you but other things."
"So she opened up to you….."
"Some, she still felt a bit uncomfortable but she was going to talk with you and her doctor anyway about the situation that you two have."
"I knew we were going to have to discuss that."
"See……I knew you were and I've broken the ice, she'll feel more comfortable now talking with you about it. Now like I said I told her nothing of your past experiences. Hec she's nice and I think she deserves to know."
"I had planned to tell her, your right a relationship is built on trust and this is a big thing that she should know."
"Yeah….i'm sorry that she had her accident, I bet she could move, four feet and all."
"Well she's always had problems walking…..which leads to the big news I was going to tell you and Dad."
Suzan smiled a broad smile, "Big news….i don't think you can get much bigger than a wedding and a taur girlfriend Hec." However she saw Hector give back a funny look.
"Oh …..it can Suzan……" His eyes looked upwards, you won't believe this he thought.
